Exposure to sun and products designed to strip oil from our hair means that most people experience some level of scalp irritation especially in our Colorado climate.

Benefits of a scalp oil treatment
The oil used is formulated with beneficial ingredients to nourish, sooth and hydrate the scalp.
The scalp oil combined with massage will gently unclog follicles which helps in the journey to reset oil production.
Routine scalp treatments are shown to aid in hair growth and lessen breakage.

I believe ingredients make a difference in any product so I use ColorUp . Antioxidants work to combat collagen-damaging free radicals. Nice anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant ingredients reduce inflammation and soothe the skin. Squalane is a popular ingredient because it mimics the oil produced in our skin and is a superb moisturizer. CBD is, of course, in this product as well for its amazing antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties.
Benefits of scalp massage
Massage helps stimulate hair growth in a few ways. The massage treatment encourages healthy blood flow, which helps deliver the nutrients to the follicles. The massage also stimulates dormant hair follicles, encouraging new hair growth.
Relaxation! Scalp massage feels amazing and increases serotonin levels which help combat feelings of stress and anxiety.
Massage helps dislodge buildup in blocked follicles and reduces dandruff and other imbalances on the scalp.
An intentional scalp treatment is a great enhancement for any service. Below are the links to Integrative massage services that have included enhancements.
After careÂ
After receiving this treatment, I recommend leaving it in for 8 hours, or overnight. Once you do decide to wash it out, apply shampoo to DRY hair. Rinse that out and then follow with your normal double shampoo before conditioning.
Healthy, shiny, bouncy hair begins with a healthy scalp!Â
At home recommendations are to use a sulfate free shampoo that won’t strip your scalp of its natural oil, try to wash your hair only 1-3 times per week, add in nutrients in a scalp serum, and don’t skimp on a giving yourself scalp massage.
